About the Client:

My client specialise in the supply and installation of high quality geotechnical and structural instrumentation to monitor movement in foundations and construction for civil engineering works.

About the Role:

  • To plan and manage the installation of a world class structural and/or geotechnical instrumentation systems on behalf of various clients
  • Take instrumentation designs and concepts and develop them into working systems
  • Produce  documentation  for  works  on  a  variety  of  third  party  assets  such  as  Docklands Light Railway, London Underground, Network Rail and other main contractors
  • Organise access to various third party properties/infrastructures
  • Manage  Project  Technicians  in  the  production  of  paperwork  and  other  design  related activities
  • Provide office based support to onsite teams during installation works
  • Attending  site  as  required  to  help  solve  technical  issues  and  to  undertake routine/reactive safety inspections

About the Candidate:

  • Experience of working within the Civil Engineering industry
  • Experience of managing other personnel
  • Experience of delivering projects on time and within budget

  • GCSE grade A-C Mathematics
  • GCSE grade A-C English
  • GCSE grade A-C Science
  • Relevant University Degree (i.e. Civil Engineering, Earth Science etc.)
  • CSCS card holder - would be ideal
